Welcome to Embasul
Strategically located in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, our headquarters sits at the midpoint of four important economic hubs in the state: Lajeado, Caxias do Sul, Gramado and Porto Alegre. This privileged position allows us to serve regional customers with speed and efficiency, and easy access to BR-116 opens the door to the rest of the country.

First Plant
Our physical structure is designed to meet customers' demands, which is why we have two plants located at the same address dedicated to different objectives. The first one, with 12,200m², is dedicated to handling larger orders at low cost through automated equipment with high production speed. In this plant we operate a corrugator and four flexographic presses with integrated gluing system and automatic strapping, capable of producing 30,000 packages per hour in continuous production.
Second Plant
The second plant, with 3,300m², is configured to handle smaller orders or jobs that require manual work, such as divider assembly or staple closing. It operates four flexographic presses and one digital press, with capacity for 4,500 packages per hour in small batches.
Our Fleet
To ensure fast and reliable delivery, we rely on a mixed truck fleet — four owned and six from carriers dedicated exclusively to our company. This setup allows us to dispatch deliveries as soon as packaging production is finished, so that even urgent orders will always have a vehicle available for delivery.
Laboratory
The credibility of Embasul Embalagens is supported by our continuous pursuit of excellence and innovation. To this end, we have an in-house laboratory where we run rigorous quality tests and develop new products. We believe a solid physical structure is essential for the reliability and satisfaction of our customers. Our History
Foundation
Founded in the City of Igrejinha
Embasul has stood out as a pioneer in supplying cardboard packaging. Originally formed by a team of around ten people, we were born with the proposal of serving local companies that needed quick deliveries of small batches — in contrast to traditional suppliers who required high minimum quantities and long lead times. This different way of working earned recognition from our customers and drove our growth.
Relocation
New Headquarters in Novo Hamburgo
In 1998 we relocated our headquarters to Novo Hamburgo, a strategic location that allowed for an even more efficient service across the state.
Expansion
Increased Production
In 2010 we reached a new level with the acquisition of a corrugator, which enabled us to handle ever larger orders at competitive prices.
Growth
Certified Quality
Today Embasul counts on around 200 talented professionals distributed across two production plants. The first is dedicated to high-volume orders, while the second focuses on small runs or jobs that require manual work. We are proud to hold the ISO 9001 certification, which attests to the standardization and continuous improvement of our processes. In addition, our products bear the FSC and Sustainable Origin seals, ensuring the social and environmental responsibility of the packaging we produce.
In pursuit of a promising future
We constantly invest in new technologies, offering innovative solutions to add value to our customers. We have an in-house design team and a state-of-the-art digital press, enabling the creation of packaging that stands out at the point of sale. In addition, through recycling credits, we offer packaging with reverse-logistics targets already offset before they leave the factory. This approach helps Embasul-packaged products achieve higher sales and margins, without compromising the environment. In this way, Embasul is a company that learns from its past and prepares for the future, keeping its original promise alive: delivering batches of any size in the timeframe our customers need.
